Title
Twenty-one Days

That is how long we would have before Hawaii’s stores of oil would run out should there be a disruption in the supply of crude to our islands. It's the length of time between comfort and chaos. If Hawaii hopes to free itself from this dangerous addiction to imported fuel, we'll need to change our energy game. Our strategy for the past half century—rolling the dice on the availability of cheap oil—is a gamble that just doesn’t work in an era of changing economies, changing world order, and a changing climate. Hawaii needs game‐changers to meet our islands' 21st‐Century energy needs. This presentation will explore the path to Hawaii's clean energy future, Blue Planet Foundation's role in shaping energy change, and Hawaii's opportunity to be a global. (Download Brochure )
